Mr. Ron Ridgeway, 78, of Marietta, GA, passed away suddenly due to an acute cardiovascular event at home on September 1, 2024. Ron was born to Eldridge (E.B.) and Ruby Ridgeway, originally of Susan Moore, AL.

Ron graduated from Phillips High School and went on to graduate with both a bachelor's and master's degree from the University of Alabama. He was employed in many aspects of real estate over his lifetime. Ron was the beloved husband of Janice Ridgeway.

Ron loved to spend time with his wife, kids, and grandkids. He also enjoyed spending his Saturday afternoons watching Alabama football from his lucky recliner (Roll Tide!), collecting baseball cards (among other things), driving fast cars (currently a 50th Anniversary Thunderbird), and working out at the gym and on the punching bag. Ron had an enormous, infectious personality and was known for making friends wherever he went. He was gone too soon and will be missed dearly by his family and all those that he touched along the way.
