Vera Moffa, a long-time resident of the Marietta area, died on Sunday the 2nd of June. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00am, Friday, June 7th.

Born in 1945 in Manhattan, New York City, Vera moved with her family to Miami.  She married Robert Moffa and had two children before moving to Marietta, Georgia in 1974. Vera had a 20+ year career at the IRS as a computer operator before retiring.

Vera was a proud mother and grandmother who loved spending time with family and friends. She loved good food and socializing, enjoyed going to the pool in the summer and being with friends.

She is survived by; Son: Bob & Renee Moffa of Marietta; Son: Chris & Susan Moffa of Woodstock; Grandchildren: Maria, Trey & Erin; Sister & Brother-in-law: Julie & Dale Andress.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 7, 2019 at Lakeside Funeral Home from 9:00am-11:00am with funeral services to follow at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Rolling Hills Memory Gardens.
