Todd Nunnally, 54, passed away peacefully at Northside Cherokee on June 14 th , 2020.
Todd was born September 5 th , 1965 to Marilyn Nunnally and Walter Tribble Nunnally in Roswell, Georgia. As a child, Todd was always athletic and played baseball throughout school. His love for the sport led him to coaching for years to come. Todd Graduated from Lassiter high school and was involved in many extracurricular activities.
Todd was known to be many things; father, brother, son, uncle, but most importantly, he was known as a friend. If you knew Todd, he was not someone you would soon forget. He was outgoing, kind, compassionate and loyal. Once you met him, his infectious smile and charismatic personality would draw you in and you would leave that day knowing you had made a friend. No matter what life brought, Todd would be there to lend a hand, offer a kind word, or a shoulder to lean on. Todd had a big heart and never met a stranger. His optimism and positive outlook held a natural attraction to many, and that light shone wherever he went.
Todd was a follower of Christ and had total trust in the Lord. He was always involved in Church and loved singing in the choir. His love for singing began when he would sit and watch Tribble, his father, play the piano and they would sing for hours. Family was a critical aspect of Todd's life and, if you knew Todd, you knew he loved his girls, Emma and Eliza, from the day he first set eyes on them. He was a family man and was always there to support his daughters, from school plays to the numerous dance practices and recitals, he always had time for them. If there was one thing you could always expect Todd to talk about, it was his girls and how proud he was of them.
Todd had many hobbies and simple pleasures in life. He was an avid fisherman, a golfer and an enthusiastic sports fan. Todd loved to bond with friends over the local sports teams and followed the Atlanta Braves, Falcons, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
Todd is preceded in death by his father Walter Tribble Nunnally and his nephew Ryan McDonnell. He is survived by his daughters Emma and Eliza Nunnally, his mother Marilyn Nunnally, his sister Robin (Dan) McDonnell and their children, Kyle and Shannon.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to a fund that has been established for Todd's daughters. It is being hosted by BB&T Bank, 678) 388-5588 at 12178 GA-92, Woodstock GA 30188 in the name of Robin McDonnell for Todd's girls.
