Butch Clark, of Marietta, died unexpectedly Christmas Eve in his home. He was preceded in death by his father, Fred, and mother, Bille. He is survived by his wife, Wanda; son, William Daly Jr and daughter-in-law, Wendy; and daughter, Savannah and son-in-law, Arlyn; brothers Johnny Clark and wife Marlane, Ricky Clark, nieces Aja Bunch, Abby Clark, Aubree Clark, Madison Clark, and nephews Johnny Clark Jr, Walker Clark, and great-nephew Jude Elmore, grandsons Joseph Clark and Nolan Clark, and adored beagle, Barley.

Butch was an Atlanta native, graduating from The Lovett School in 1968 where he excelled in football and developed many friendships that lasted his entire life. He met his future wife of 40 years on a blind date in March 1978. They married in May, 1983, and subsequently welcomed two children, a son, William Daly, and daughter, Savannah. His greatest pleasures in life were his family, especially his grandsons. He loved NASCAR and college football, and family vacations at the beach.

Services for Butch will be held December 30, 2023 at Lakeside Funeral Home in Woodstock, with family visitation at 2 PM and services to follow at 3 PM.
