On the morning of August 21, 2022, Bill passed away peacefully in Marietta, GA.  He was 80 years old.

Bill was born in Trezevant, TN to Elton and Helen Jones.  He grew up in Milan, TN, and Blytheville, AR.  Bill attended Arkansas State University where he graduated with a degree in Biology.  He then served in the United States Air Force, after which he began his career as a food scientist.  Bill worked for the Coca-Cola Company for 42 years and retired in 2011.  He enjoyed his retirement on the farm in Taylorsville, GA, spending time with his grandchildren, dogs, and horses.

Bill is preceded in death by his wife Cynthia, sister Barbara Stevens and parents, Elton and Helen Jones.

Bill is survived by his children and grandchildren.

A memorial service for Bill will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 27 at Holbrook of Woodstock retirement community.
